“Micro Piezas en Forma de Variación” is a piece for piano inspired upon images from the jewish holocaust. The work rides through different short episodes, as a way of description and/or narrative of the misfortunes and mistreatment of jews during the nazi era. It was composed in 1994 and premiered the same year at Teatro General San Martín in Buenos Aires. It was subsequently performed in Israel in 1996, not to be performed again till past Monday, November 22nd, when I presented as original composition in the series of concerts “Piano de Ayer y Piano de Hoy” happening at Paso Synagogue.
